Late to the punch
I’ve been watching my nieces and nephews for a couple years stare into Youtube, watching other people play video games, as if they were watching a movie. This was an extremely weird newly passive way of consuming video games and I suspected that this was a broader phenomenon.
Not understanding the data: diversity and friendship
You have more diverse friends than they’re telling you today. The Washington Post took some survey statistics about how many friends of different races people have and, in trying to make them comprehensible, ended up making people seem like they have less diverse friends than they probably do.
